Established in Toowoomba in 2000 under the banner of Logical Data Solutions, Bob offered services to both the educational and corporate sector. In March of 2004 after various contracts in the previous year, the business opened a commercial premises at High Street Plaza with a change of name to KD Computers. At this time, while KD Computers also supports businesses, it was decided that there was a huge deficit in the home computer market. With companies charging high rates for the home user, not explaining things in laymans terms and not catering to the needs of that market, KD Computers decided to specialise in providing up to date information with unprecidented customer service for the home market.

Now this market doesn't have to settle for more inexperienced technicians but can have the best just as the corporate sector does. Bob, a Senior Network Engineer, has been on many high level contracts all over the State of Queensland. He has also had extensive experience in the home market with many years as a consultant. His career doesn't just span locally but also internationally with years of experience in large companies. Many companies have to go to Brisbane or Sydney to find someone with his experience. Now you don't have to look further than KD Computers. We are local, competitive, have the experience to back up our service and believe in good, old fashioned quality.

Robert Acheson is co-owner and manager of K D Computers.

Robert (or Bob as he likes to be called) has 30 years experience in the computer field.  His accomplished career has seen him work for companies such as Lockheed Martin, Intel and Tektronix.  Bob has served on National and State teams both here and in the United States travelling all over upgrading equipment.  He is a current Certified Novell Engineer (CNE5).

Bob completed a Statewide contract for the Queensland Health Department in 2003 where he upgraded euipment in large environments down to small sites such as Moura, Palm Island and Normanton.

Since opening the commercial premises in March, 2004, Bob has now become a citizen of Australia.
